Last year the Azle community came together and raised over $3,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to. 2026 we are back to continue what we started last year - lifting heavy weights, setting PR's, and lifting the burden of others and the stigma of suicide.

About the Event
Last year we began the process of lifting the stigma of suicide in the Azle community, while raising money for the AFSP. 100% of all entry fees will go the North Texas Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This will be in addition to our Annual Lifting the Stigma meet in August. We are committed to Lifting the Stigma across the state, and eventually the nation.
Capped at 50 lifters, this will be a full powerlifting meet with squat, bench, and deadlift. There will also be bench only, deadlift only, and push/pull categories. There will be both tested and non-tested divisions.
Weigh-ins will be Friday June 5th from noon - 6pm, there will be no Saturday weigh-in without prior approval. Athletes must bring all equipment to weigh in for a gear check. All lifters must have a current RIPL membership prior to weighing in.
